They are seeking a contract Business Development Representative focused on candidate outreach, responsible for initiating conversations with high-quality candidates through outbound outreach.
Responsibilities:
- Contact candidates from curated prospect lists provided by the recruiting team
- Conduct outbound cold calls to introduce relevant opportunities and initiate conversations
- Review candidate profiles to understand background, experience, and potential alignment with current searches
- Personalize conversations based on candidate experience and potential role fit
- Engage passive candidates who are not actively job seeking
- Use a multi channel outreach approach including phone, LinkedIn, and email
- Build credibility quickly and represent G2 Startup Advisors professionally
- Clearly communicate and position multiple client opportunities depending on candidate background and interests
- Tailor conversations to align candidates with the most relevant roles across our client portfolio
- Capture candidate motivations and career goals during early conversations
- Qualify candidate experience and level of interest
- Schedule discovery calls with recruiters or partners on the team
- Track outreach activity and candidate conversations in RecruiterFlow
- Use automation and AI driven tools to improve targeting and outreach efficiency
- Contribute feedback on messaging and candidate engagement strategies
Requirements:
- Experience in sales development, recruiting, or outbound prospecting
- Strong comfort with cold calling and initiating conversations with professionals
- Ability to quickly understand and communicate multiple job opportunities and client value propositions
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Organized and able to manage outreach activity across several searches
- Comfortable working with modern outbound tools and CRM systems
- Self directed and reliable in a remote contract environment
- Experience with Clay for candidate data enrichment and targeting
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospect identification
- Experience with JuiceBox and Pin for outreach workflows
- Experience with RecruiterFlow as our recruiting CRM
- Experience with custom AI tools for sourcing and outreach optimization
