Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Operations Support Specialist to support the Chief Surgeon General's office within the Army National Guard (ARNG). The role involves providing comprehensive logistical and administrative support to ensure the Medical Readiness mission is achieved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Force Management Support:
- Assist with data searches, historical data examinations, and research for the Force Management Division as needed, typically not more than once a month.
- Develop and maintain professional contacts to facilitate staff coordination and administrative duties related to historical Task Management Tool data.
Medical Advisory Group (MEDAG) and MEDAG Executive Committee (MEDAGEC) Support:
- Provide annual logistics support to MEDAG and MEDAGEC.
- Track and support strategic planning projects for MEDAG.
- Coordinate with state medical administrators for membership processes.
- Handle travel requirements and Requests for Orders for MEDAG members on a monthly basis.
- Coordinate resolution of MEDAG issues with various surgeon's offices monthly.
- Prepare agendas, edit and disseminate data, track projects, and manage meeting minutes for quarterly meetings.
- Update and manage the MEDAG Charter and historical records annually.
ARNG T-10 Medical Team Support:
- Address and resolve incoming Medical Team issues weekly, providing logistics support and tracking with state offices.
- Capture, edit, and publish meeting minutes; maintain historical records.
- Plan and facilitate strategic planning meetings biannually and monthly Video Teleconferences.
- Support the annual ARNG Medical Team Conference, including logistics for a national training event covering various medical topics.
- Centralized Credentialing and Privileging Preparation (C2P2) Board Support:
- Coordinate quarterly with state medical administrators to ensure members are qualified for Credentialing Board memberships.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics, administrative support, or a similar role within a medical or military context.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with military protocols and healthcare administrative processes is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in using office software for document management, data tracking, and communication.
- ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance
