Scientific Search is a fast-growing organization that assists pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device innovators in bringing life-changing therapies to market faster. They are seeking a strategic business development leader to expand partnerships with companies needing advanced pharmaceutical development and regulatory consulting services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a national business development strategy targeting biotech, pharma, and device companies
- Identify and secure new clients requiring analytical testing, pharmaceutical development, microbiology testing, and regulatory consulting services
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through proposal, negotiation, and closing
- Build relationships with R&D, CMC, Quality, and Regulatory leaders within client organizations
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
- Collaborate with internal scientists and technical teams to create tailored client solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related field
- Strong network within biotech or pharmaceutical R&D, CMC, or quality organizations
- Background selling CRO, CDMO, analytical testing, or pharmaceutical development services
- Ability to translate scientific capabilities into client-focused solutions
- Proven track record generating new revenue through complex service partnerships
