CUDDLY is a mission-driven platform that helps animal rescues and shelters raise funds and care for pets in need. They are seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own and optimize their email marketing program, focusing on donor and customer engagement to drive revenue and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage segmentation strategies across donor, subscriber, and DTC audiences
- Build targeted flows (welcome, winback, lapsed donor, post-purchase, subscription churn prevention, etc.)
- Personalize content by behavior, value tier, and engagement
- Partner with leadership on high-value donor segmentation initiatives
- Own weekly campaign calendar
- Write or collaborate on compelling subject lines and content
- Build emails in Klaviyo
- Ensure flawless QA and deployment
- Optimize deliverability and inbox placement
- Own email channel revenue targets
- Analyze campaign performance (AOV, conversion, retention, speed to 2nd donation, etc.)
- Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, cadence, and segmentation
- Develop dashboards and reporting for leadership
- Work with creative on asset needs
- Partner with product and fundraising teams on key campaign priorities
- Align email messaging with paid media and site promotions
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years managing lifecycle marketing for a Shopify-based DTC brand
- Deep hands-on experience working inside Klaviyo
- Experience building and optimizing lifecycle flows triggered by Shopify events
- Proven ownership of revenue generated through email and lifecycle programs
- Experience working with segmentation based on behavior, purchase history, and value tiers
- Proven revenue ownership in email channel
- Deep experience with segmentation and behavioral targeting
- Strong understanding of email analytics & attribution
- Ability to write clear, compelling, conversion-driven copy
- Klaviyo (primary ESP)
- Shopify (order and behavioral data)
- Customer segmentation tools within Klaviyo
- Basic ecommerce analytics
- Prior CPG and/or non-profit fundraising experience
- Experience managing multi-audience lifecycle ecosystems
- Familiarity with retention and churn mitigation strategies
