Business Analyst

Salted is the largest delivery-first restaurant group in the United States, focused on making better-for-you cuisine accessible. They are seeking a Business Analyst to own financial reporting, automate reports, and translate operational data into financial insights.

Responsibilities:

• Own weekly, periodic, and annual financial reporting across locations and districts — and actively work to automate recurring reports so the team spends less time pulling data and more time acting on it
• Build and maintain a rolling forecast using real operational inputs, run reforecasts with clear variance commentary, and develop scenarios that keep leadership ahead of the business
• Translate operational data into financial insights — bridging the gap between what's happening on the floor and what it means for the P&L
• Support budgeting cycles, including variance analysis and commentary
• Use data to identify inefficiencies and cost drivers, and partner cross-functionally with operations to implement solutions

Requirements:

• Degree in finance, math, or engineering
• 2–3 years of experience in finance, strategy, sales ops, consulting, or similar
• Expert in spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel, Google Sheets)
• Strong quantitative skillset
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Strong communicator who can present financial findings to non-finance stakeholders clearly and concisely
• SQL experience preferred
