Appian is a company that provides process automation technology, dedicated to high standards and quality in their operations. They are seeking a Workplace Events Intern to support their Travel and Workplace Events team by designing, coordinating, and executing internal events and travel initiatives that foster employee connection and culture.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current travel and event processes to help develop technical and non-technical solutions that improve the employee experience
- Use a design-thinking approach to prototype and model event flows, ensuring every workplace gathering is impactful and inclusive
- Support the end-to-end logistics for summer events, from vendor sourcing and site selection to collaborating on Food and Beverage management for internal gatherings
- Assist in managing our corporate travel platform, helping to integrate sustainable tourism practices and ethical travel standards into our corporate policies
- Create supporting communication artifacts (newsletters, guides, and FAQs) to increase adoption of new travel tools and event protocols
