FinPro is a high-growth insurtech company delivering enterprise SaaS solutions to the insurance industry. They are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead new business efforts across enterprise accounts, focusing on closing high-value deals and managing complex sales cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close for enterprise-level deals
- Identify, engage, and win new business across insurers, MGAs, brokers, and embedded insurance partners
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target key accounts and market segments
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes involving commercial, technical, and executive buyers
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and proposals aligned to client needs
- Collaborate with BDRs, marketing, and product teams to drive pipeline generation and deal success
- Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value SaaS agreements
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
- Stay up to date with industry trends and position the solution effectively within the evolving insurtech landscape
Requirements:
- Proven track record in business development or sales within enterprise SaaS (insurtech or fintech strongly preferred)
- Experience closing complex, high-value deals with long sales cycles
- Strong understanding of the insurance ecosystem (carriers, MGAs, brokers, or embedded insurance models)
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging C-suite decision-makers
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Ability to articulate complex technical solutions in a clear, compelling way
- Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a remote, high-growth environment
