Role
Solenis is seeking a commercially credible, highly connected industry professional to lead strategic talent acquisition for our Food & Beverage Solutions business. This role requires deep understanding of the food and beverage processing market, strong professional relationships within the industry, and the ability to identify and engage high-performing sales professionals in a competitive, relationship-driven environment.
The ideal candidate brings significant experience in either sales or recruitment within food & beverage processing, water treatment, sanitation, hygiene, or specialty chemical solutions. What matters most is industry credibility, network depth, and the ability to influence senior commercial stakeholders.
This position is not transactional recruiting. It is a strategic, relationship-driven role requiring peer-level credibility with experienced sales professionals and trusted partnership with business leadership.
Responsibilities
Serve as the dedicated talent partner to Food & Beverage Solutions commercial leadership.
Develop and execute talent strategies aligned to customer segments, territory expansion, and strategic growth initiatives.
Leverage existing industry relationships to proactively identify and engage high-performing commercial professionals within food and beverage manufacturing.
Build and maintain talent maps across competitors, adjacent specialty chemical providers, and relevant service partners.
Assess candidates for commercial acumen, consultative selling capability, technical credibility, regulatory awareness, and cultural alignment.
Provide market intelligence on compensation trends, competitor hiring activity, and talent availability within the F&B commercial space.
Partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition operations, and leadership to ensure a seamless, high-quality hiring process.
Build long-term talent pipelines that support multi-year growth objectives across key accounts and regions.
Requirements
7+ years of commercial sales, business development, account management, or recruiting experience within food and beverage manufacturing, specialty chemicals, sanitation solutions, or related markets.
Demonstrated depth of professional network within the food and beverage commercial community.
Strong understanding of F&B production environments, plant-level decision-making, and consultative sales cycles.
Ability to build credibility quickly with senior sales leaders and key account stakeholders.
High level of business acumen and ability to evaluate commercial performance drivers in a complex, regulated environment.
Proactive, relationship-driven approach to engaging passive talent.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $107,500.00 and $157,663.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
