Yohrs is a global clean-tech infrastructure leader, and they are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth in the EV charging sector. The role involves strategic account planning and engaging with industry stakeholders to build a strong pipeline and achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth within a defined vertical (multifamily, retail, hospitality, healthcare, fleet, and more)
- Build deep industry expertise—market trends, regulations, buying behaviours, and stakeholder ecosystems
- Develop strategic account plans for top enterprise prospects
- Engage with industry associations, trade groups, and events to build pipeline and visibility
- Execute targeted outbound campaigns across calls, email, and LinkedIn
- Lead discovery and qualification conversations to uncover vertical‑specific needs
- Deliver compelling value propositions, case studies, and ROI analyses
- Navigate complex buying structures and long enterprise sales cycles
- Collaborate with marketing on vertical‑specific GTM strategies and collateral
- Partner with product and engineering to influence roadmap based on market needs
- Achieve new logo and revenue targets within your vertical
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of B2B sales experience, including 3+ years in a vertical‑focused role
- Proven success breaking into new markets and building pipeline from scratch
- Deep understanding of at least one target vertical's ecosystem and buying patterns
- A true hunter mindset with the ability to open executive‑level doors
- Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles (6–18 months)
- Exceptional strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities—comfortable speaking the industry's language
- Willingness to travel 40–60% for events, conferences, and customer meetings
- Bachelor's degree required
- Existing relationships within your vertical (strongly preferred)
- MBA or industry certifications a plus
