Poseidon is building the data infrastructure for the next generation of AI. They are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to own the go-to-market strategy for new products and features, craft compelling narratives, and shape the marketing foundation of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Package technical products into compelling offerings: Turn raw datasets or technical features into productized narratives that feel tangible, exciting, and differentiated
- Technical storytelling: Create collateral such as pitch decks, product pages, blog posts, launch papers, and case studies that can speak both to technical and non-technical audiences
- Own product launch strategy: Lead launches for new products, features, and integrations, from research to messaging to distribution
- Evangelize to AI communities: Build awareness and credibility through grassroots, open-source-style engagement
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth to ensure alignment between what we build and how we communicate it
- Support revenue motion: Create marketing materials and positioning that accelerate bottoms-up adoption and early contract closures
- Measure and iterate: Track KPIs, gather user feedback, and refine messaging and campaigns based on real-world impact
- Shape Poseidon’s marketing foundation: Build the early marketing playbook, processes, and culture as one of the first PMMs
Requirements:
- 5 to 8 plus years in product marketing, ideally B2B, AI, or open-source ecosystems
- Early-stage PMM experience preferred
- Comfortable discussing data pipelines, APIs, or datasets in a way that can be quickly understood by engineers, researchers, and partners
- Ability to take boring data or functionality and turn it into compelling, well-designed product narratives and assets
- Strong writing, editorial, and design instincts for papers, decks, blogs, and visual marketing
- Experience engaging technical or grassroots ecosystems
- Experience launching products or features from zero, with measurable adoption or impact
- Thrives in fast-moving environments with minimal structure, able to wear multiple hats
- Belief in open, decentralized systems and empowering creators, developers, and users
- Understands how marketing drives adoption, pipeline, and early contracts
