Atreides USA is a fast-moving startup that transforms complex datasets into geo-spatial data subscriptions. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will support managers in executing people processes, performance management, and employee relations, while also identifying opportunities for improvement and coordination within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for an assigned function or region, providing timely support to managers on day-to-day people matters
- Translate manager needs into clear HR actions, ensuring talent and workforce processes are executed accurately and efficiently
- Facilitate execution of performance cycles, talent reviews, and associated follow-through actions
- Support workforce planning by coordinating hiring requests, documenting rationale, tracking approvals, and maintaining visibility into headcount changes
- Manage employee relations matters end-to-end, including issue intake, documentation, investigation support, and resolution
- Support onboarding execution and assist with employee lifecycle processes including promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and offboarding coordination
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring execution, including coordination visibility, offer inputs, and process tracking
- Reinforce consistent people practices by coaching managers, answering real-time questions, and helping ensure policies and processes are applied appropriately
- Maintain accurate employee data, documentation, and records in partnership with People Operations
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations to ensure workforce changes are implemented correctly
- Identify emerging trends or risks related to team effectiveness, retention, or compliance and share insights with People leadership
- Over time, deepen partnership with managers by contributing insights that help shape more forward-looking people and workforce decisions
- In a lean, scaling environment, support selected coordination activities to ensure people initiatives move efficiently
Requirements:
- Approximately 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR Generalist, HRBP, or similar execution-focused role
- Experience supporting a defined business group or functional area with day-to-day HR ownership
- Demonstrated ability to execute core HR processes end-to-end in evolving or fast-moving environments
- Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices and confidence handling employee relations matters with appropriate escalation
- Strong organizational skills and ability to balance structured execution with changing priorities
- Experience in startups, high-growth technology environments, or similarly dynamic organizations
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations teams
- Comfort using HR systems and workflows to improve coordination, visibility, and efficiency
- Exposure to workforce scaling, organizational change, or evolving operating models
