Leoforce is seeking a dynamic and innovative Business Development Manager with a strong background in public accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will drive growth and profitability by identifying new business opportunities and effectively presenting the firm's services to potential clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth and increase market share
- Identify, research, and pursue potential new clients and business opportunities in line with the company’s strategic objectives
- Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and potential partners
- Discuss and promote our service lines effectively, ensuring a clear understanding of our offerings and their benefits
- Lead and present the firm's services to prospective clients in a compelling and persuasive manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and to identify opportunities for cross-selling
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and key areas for development
- Provide timely and accurate reports on business development activities and performance
- Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote the company’s brand and services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in business development within the Accounting and Finance industry
- Proven track record of finding and identifying new business opportunities and turning them into successful partnerships
- Strong understanding of public accounting and ability to discuss different service lines effectively
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to lead and present the firm's services confidently
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a clear focus on business growth
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and potential partners
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is a plus
- A former practicing CPA in a business development role is ideal (Tax, Audit, CAAS/CFO services, and more)
