VoltAir Inc. is an engineering firm that provides Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Information Technology design and commissioning services. They are seeking a seasoned Engineering Recruiter to support a surge in hiring needs, focusing on sourcing and hiring top-tier engineering talent while collaborating with hiring managers to build a robust talent pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing & Outreach: Source active and passive candidates for VoltAir’s open positions
- Technical Screening: Screen resumes and conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidates' technical expertise, project experience, and team fit
- Hiring Manager Partnership: Collaborate with Engineering directors and managers to understand job specifications and provide feedback on the candidate market
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Engineering, and/or related field, or equivalent years of experience
- 2-5 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, specifically focused on engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, building information modeling (BIM), or software)
- Proficiency in advanced sourcing techniques including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and niche platforms
- Ability to understand complex engineering job requirements and assess candidate technical capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage passive talent and build relationships with hiring leaders
- Proven ability to work independently and succeed in a fast-paced, temporary, or part-time capacity
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and MS Office Suite
