Founding Recruiter

Medra is a company focused on developing a Physical AI Scientist platform that operates with human-level dexterity and autonomous reasoning. They are seeking a Founding Recruiter to build and manage the entire talent function, collaborating with leadership to define hiring needs and create effective recruiting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Build and own the entire talent function at Medra
• Partner directly with leadership to define hiring needs and shape role requirements
• Run full-cycle recruiting across technical and non-technical roles
• Develop sourcing strategies and proactively engage top-tier candidates
• Create and refine interview processes, rubrics, and evaluation systems
• Clearly communicate progress, surface risks early, and keep hiring moving quickly
• Build scalable recruiting workflows, systems, and tools
• Maintain an excellent candidate experience and represent Medra’s mission compellingly
• Take full ownership of critical hires from start to finish
