Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic growth plans for the extruded proteins platform across snacks, bars, cereals, clusters, bites, and other extrusion‑driven categories—clearly defining market positioning and right‑to‑win strategies
- Build and maintain competitive intelligence to articulate differentiation, strengthen customer engagement, and guide commercial strategy
- Demonstrate a strong commercial mindset by partnering with Kerry commercial teams and customer stakeholders to achieve revenue and margin goals while developing a high‑quality, conversion‑focused opportunity pipeline
- Apply tenacity, urgency, and proactive outreach to consistently generate new opportunities and advance them efficiently through the sales cycle
- Ensure pricing strategies accurately reflect the value of the technology and align with margin expectations
- Serve as a technically credible partner to customers, independently leading discussions related to hot extrusion and supporting technical‑commercial alignment
- Leverage an established network across snacks, bars, cereals, and emerging/innovative brands to expand market access and accelerate growth
- Build and maintain strong external relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to support strategic growth and technology adoption
- Collaborate closely with sales leaders, customers, marketing, and R&D to drive targeted innovation and identify opportunities across multiple extruded applications
- Act as an internal ambassador for extrusion technology—educating teams, fostering collaboration, and supporting cross‑functional project execution
Requirements:
- 5+ years of business development experience with a strong track record of creating and closing new opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, or a related field required
- Well‑developed network and deep understanding of the snacks, bars, cereals, and broader extruded products market, with particular strength in emerging and disruptive brands
- Proven commercial success with the ability to build and convert a robust sales pipeline
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to operate effectively within a matrixed organization
