Zenergi is an award-winning energy consultancy in the UK, delivering a range of services to over 4,000 customers. They are seeking Business Development Managers to join their commercial team, responsible for territory planning, building pipeline, and winning new customers.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully hitting your monthly and quarterly sales targets with the full support of the business
- Plan a sales strategy for your region and execute on this strategy
- Creating a qualified new business pipeline with target businesses, with a strong appreciation of personal contribution, a planning mindset and excellent funnel management
- Liaising with the target audience at prospects to close the deal at maximum value and as fast as possible
- Collaborating with Leadership, Onboarding and Customer Success to ensuring the best pre and post-sales experience for the client
- Updating and inputting accurate data into the CRM and utilising tools such as Sales Navigator and lead gen tools
Requirements:
- Highly disciplined and organized
- Demonstrable experience with solution selling sales process and related business models
- Track record of building a new business pipeline at the same time as executing contracts. Evidenced track record of achieving sales quota across multiple years
- Experience in B2B sales and managing a sometimes complex sales cycles end-to-end
- Trained in solution/value selling or exposure to solution/value selling
- Understanding of stakeholder management and the various roles of the buyer in the sales process
- CRM system knowledge
- Self-motivated, focused, ambitious and highly professional with a strong sense of fun!
- A history or knowledge of the sustainability and net zero services market is advantageous
- Keen interest in the value of sustainability and net zero in business and how this can transform our lives and add value to our customers
