Call For Referral is a rapidly growing company, and they are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to help customers realize the value of their solutions. This role involves collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering to address complex customer needs and ensure effective solution delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer billing models and configure contracts, pricing, metering, and invoicing accurately
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, structured workflows and setups
- Design solutions for complex billing, revrec and reporting processes, focused on outcomes rather than features
- Partner with Sales on live demos, sandbox setups, and RFP responses
- Participate in discovery conversations with CTOs, CFOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance, and senior stakeholders, connecting customer needs to capabilities
- Build and maintain demo environments that reflect real-world enterprise use cases
- Support enterprise deal cycles and contribute meaningfully to deal outcomes
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, sharing structured insights with Product and Engineering
- Create clear handoff documentation when transitioning deals or use cases
- Raise and follow through on time-sensitive issues to ensure momentum is never lost
- Create customer-specific solution documentation and onboarding references
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases, enablement material, and product documentation
- Communicate clearly — simple enough for a CXO, precise enough for technical teams
Requirements:
- Genuine finance domain credibility to have thoughtful, credible conversations with Controllers and Finance leaders on topics like revenue recognition, billing complexity, and close cycles
- Ability to understand customer billing models and configure contracts, pricing, metering, and invoicing accurately
- Skill in translating complex business requirements into clear, structured workflows and setups
