SIMARN Solutions is seeking a JD Edwards World Application Support Engineer to provide Level 2/3 support and junior development for manufacturing ERP systems. The role focuses on troubleshooting, user support, and assisting with enhancements in a JD Edwards World environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 & 3 support for JD Edwards World (manufacturing modules)
- Troubleshoot issues related to Work Orders, Shop Floor Control, Inventory, and BOMs
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve production incidents within SLAs
- Support user onboarding/offboarding
- Assist with RPG debugging , patches, updates, and deployments
- Support testing (unit, UAT, integration) and documentation
- Collaborate with business users, developers, and cross‑functional teams
- Support integrations with MES/EDI and other enterprise systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering
- 1–3 years JD Edwards World experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Hands-on experience with AS/400 (IBM i), RPG, SQL
- Familiarity with change management tools (TurnOver, Implementer, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow preferred)
- JDE EnterpriseOne (E1), JDE CNC
- MES or EDI integrations
- SOX controls and security support
