Senva, Inc. is focused on providing innovative solutions for data centers. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and expand business opportunities within the data center ecosystem, build relationships with key stakeholders, and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Identify applications and use cases for power metering, pressure sensing, leak detection, and current monitoring within power and cooling systems
- Influence product specifications and standards at the design and OEM level
- Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities from initial engagement through handoff to sales or channel partners
- Identify and qualify new data center projects, operators, colocation providers, hyperscale facilities, and enterprise sites
- Primary target will include: End user (Data Centers), EPC/GC (Consulting engineer), OEM, Panel Builders, BAS Contractors
- Research and engage OEMs, manufacturers, and system integrators supplying PDUs, RPPs, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units, and mechanical and electrical infrastructure to name a few
- Build and maintain a target account list of manufacturers, engineering firms, consultants, and contractors serving the data center market
- Establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers, including architecture and design engineers, product managers, procurement teams, and facilities leaders
- Act as a technical and commercial liaison between customers, channel partners, and internal sales, engineering, and product teams related to data centers
- Hyperscale and colocation data center operators
- Enterprise data center owners and facility managers
- OEMs and manufacturers of:
- Power Distribution Units (PDUs)
- Remote Power Panels (RPPs)
- Cooling towers, chillers, and heat rejection systems
- CRAH/CRAC and air handling equipment
- Skid and modular data center systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or industry experience preferred
- 5+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, or channel sales
- Experience working with OEMs, system integrators, or manufacturers
- Knowledge of HVAC Background
- Data Center Experience specific to sales and development
- Sensor and metering specific to data centers required
- Strategic sales prospecting and account planning
- Consultative and solution-based selling
- CRM and pipeline management
