The Outside Parts Salesperson develops and achieves maximum profitable sales volume of parts and labor services from assigned accounts in a designated territory
Analyzes customer operations to ascertain future parts, service and truck requirements
Develops and achieves maximum sales volume consistent with realistic sales projections for assigned accounts focusing on parts and labor sales opportunities
Oversees operations of assigned customers
Advises or assists them in such areas as inventory selection and control, service available, new products and services, etc
Plans territory coverage
Calls upon key accounts (current and prospective) regularly
Takes orders, introduces new products and promotions.
Controls personal expenses within the approved expense budget and submits expense reports
Investigates and refer customer complaints to the appropriate Department Manager.
Assists, whenever necessary, the counter personnel with orders, deliveries, returns, inventory and other tasks as assigned
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
