Account Manager - Mid Market

Rightworks provides an intelligent cloud and fully managed IT and applications for accounting firms and small businesses. The Account Manager will nurture existing customer relationships, advise clients on additional services, set appointments, close deals, and manage a sales pipeline while meeting quota targets.

Responsibilities:

• Establish ongoing relationships with a customer base coming from multiple channels, and lead high-level consultative calls outlining the many ways a firm can leverage its relationship with Rightworks
• Engage our customer audience and introduce Rightworks as the one-stop technology solution, with offerings ranging from QuickBooks hosting to fully outsourced IT
• Manage regular forecasting and pipeline reporting
• Manage assigned accounts, field customer inquiries, and route items as needed
• Conduct heavy outbound calling and emailing to set up regular appointments
• Meet or exceed all quota targets - monthly, quarterly, and annually
• Collaborate closely with Product & Marketing, as well as channel teams
• Suggest and implement improvements to the sales process
• Maintain a current, working knowledge of the accounting industry - trends, competitors, and software
• Travel as needed for association and industry events and customer visits

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of SaaS sales experience
• Experience building pipeline through outbound prospecting
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota
• Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Numerical aptitude and a problem-solving mindset
• US Citizens or permanent residents authorized to work in the United States

• 3-5 years of experience selling technology to accounting firms
• experience with prospecting and sales productivity tools (Groove, Clari, Salesforce)
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• equivalent practical experience
