Hetherington Group is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support new business growth by booking qualified meetings and generating pipeline with Fortune 500 organizations. This role is focused on outbound prospecting into corporate security and executive protection teams at large enterprises.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and engage net-new Fortune 500 prospects through outbound outreach
- Research target accounts and buyer personas within corporate security and executive protection teams
- Execute outbound prospecting across phone, email, and LinkedIn using approved messaging and scripts
- Qualify inbound inquiries and route appropriately
- Book qualified discovery meetings and hand them off directly to the Director of Sales
- Generate pipeline through consistent, professional prospecting efforts
- Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce, including activity tracking and lead notes
- Use ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify, validate, and prioritize prospects
- Continuously refine outreach based on feedback, results, and market learning
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or inside sales role
- Proven outbound prospecting experience (phone, email, LinkedIn)
- Comfortable engaging senior-level stakeholders in enterprise environments
- Experience using Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive, professional mindset
